Unforgettable Discovery Day with Vag'abond Expeditions and the Bas-du-Fort Marina

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Vag'abond Expéditions association, in partnership with the Bas-du-Fort Marina, offered 30 students in grades 5 and 6 a unique experience discovering the world of sailing and marine ecosystems.
The children had the opportunity to board the Noam sailboat, explore its interior, and participate in fun and educational activities. From coloring marine animals on the mainsail to engaging discussions about sailing and marine biodiversity, this morning was a time of curiosity and learning.
This partnership between Vag'abond Expéditions and the Bas-du-Fort Marina, which made this initiative possible, is expected to be renewed in April 2025 with a new school. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness among more children about protecting marine environments while instilling in them a passion for sailing.
